                            <p>Aim: This study aims to examine the effect of Strategic Human Resource Management (SHRM) practices on employees’ intention to leave in the aviation industry and to identify the relative impact of different HR dimensions on this intention. Given the aviation sector’s high safety requirements, intense competition, and continuous technological transformation, the strategic management of human resources has become a critical factor.Methods: The study employs a quantitative research design. Data were collected through structured questionnaires from 449 employees working in the aviation sector. The data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation, and regression analyses.Results: The findings indicate that SHRM practices have a moderate and negative effect on employees’ intention to leave. Among the sub-dimensions, recruitment &amp; selection and performance appraisal have significant effects, whereas training &amp; development and compensation &amp; benefits do not show a statistically significant direct effect.Conclusion: SHRM practices play a significant role in reducing turnover intention; however, their effectiveness varies across different HR dimensions and is influenced by sectoral characteristics. In the aviation industry, strengthening recruitment and performance management processes is particularly important for enhancing employee retention.Originality: This study contributes to the literature by empirically demonstrating how different dimensions of SHRM have varying effects on turnover intention within the aviation sector using quantitative data</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Amaç: Bu araştırmanın amacı, havacılık sektöründe stratejik insan kaynakları yönetimi (SİKY) uygulamalarının çalışanların işten ayrılma niyeti üzerindeki etkisini incelemek ve bu uygulamaların alt boyutlarının söz konusu niyet üzerindeki göreli etkilerini belirlemektir. Havacılık sektörünün yüksek güvenlik gereksinimleri, yoğun rekabet yapısı ve sürekli teknolojik dönüşümü, insan kaynaklarının stratejik yönetimini kritik bir unsur hâline getirmektedir.Yöntem: Araştırma nicel araştırma yaklaşımı ile yürütülmüştür. Veriler, havacılık sektöründe çalışan 449 katılımcıdan anket yöntemiyle toplanmıştır. Elde edilen veriler tanımlayıcı istatistikler, korelasyon ve regresyon analizleri kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.Bulgular: Araştırma bulguları, stratejik insan kaynakları uygulamalarının çalışanların işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde orta düzeyde ve negatif yönlü bir etkiye sahip olduğunu göstermektedir. Alt boyutlar incelendiğinde, işe alım ve seçme ile performans değerlendirme boyutlarının işten ayrılma niyeti üzerinde anlamlı etkiler yarattığı, buna karşılık eğitim ve gelişim ile ücretler ve sosyal haklar boyutlarının doğrudan anlamlı bir etki göstermediği belirlenmiştir.Sonuç: Stratejik insan kaynakları uygulamaları, çalışanların işten ayrılma niyetinin azaltılmasında önemli bir rol oynamaktadır. Ancak bu etkinin tüm insan kaynakları uygulamaları için eşit düzeyde olmadığı ve sektörel yapıdan etkilendiği görülmektedir. Havacılık sektöründe özellikle işe alım ve performans değerlendirme süreçlerinin güçlendirilmesi, çalışan bağlılığının artırılması açısından kritik öneme sahiptir.Özgünlük: Bu çalışma, stratejik insan kaynakları uygulamalarının alt boyutlarının işten ayrılma niyeti üzerindeki farklı etkilerini havacılık sektörü bağlamında nicel verilerle ortaya koyarak literatüre katkı sağlamaktadır.</p></abstract>
