Toplum merkezlerinin en temel hareket noktasını kadınlar oluşturmakta olup, kadınlara yönelik koruyucu-önleyici, eğitici-geliştirici, tedavi ve rehabilite edici hizmetler sunulmaktadır. Ayrıca, aile gelirine katkı sağlanması ve evde bir kimlik kabul görmesi nedeniyle, kadının el emeği ile gelir elde etmesi ve meslek edindirilmesine yönelik destekleyici çalışmalar da yapılmaktadır. Araştırmanın amacı Edirne ili Toplum Merkezinden hizmet alan yoksul kadınların kooperatifleşmeye karşı tutumlarını ortaya koymaktır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Toplum merkezlerinden hizmet alan 56 kadına yönelik anket yapılmıştır. Edirne İli Toplum Merkezlerindeki kadınlar sabun üretimi, dikiş-nakış, yaka iğnesi, ahşap boyama gibi faaliyetler gerçekleştirmektedirler. Ancak, kadınlar yüksek maliyetle ürün üretmekte ve bu ürünleri piyasa fiyatına satamamaktadırlar. Bu sorunu ortadan kaldırmak amacıyla el sanatları konusunda kadın kooperatifi kurulması gerekmektedir. Kooperatif sayesinde, kadınlar daha düşük maliyetlerle ürün üretecekler ve piyasa fiyatına ürünlerini satabileceklerdir. Böylece, kadınlar hem aile gelirine hem de ilin kalkınmasına katkı sağlamış olacaklardır. Yapılan anket sonrasında elde edilen verilere göre, kadınlar kooperatif kurma konusunda olumlu tutumlara sahip oldukları tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan ki kare analizine göre, kadınların kooperatif tanımını bilmeleri ile kooperatif kurma arasında istatistiksel açıdan anlamlı bir ilişki olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır.
The most basic starting point of community centers are women, for women of preventive, educational-developmental treatment and rehabilitative services are available. Also, to contribute to family income and home due to acceptance of an indentity, the woman with hand-crafted to generate income and provide vocotional also supportive studies are being made. The purpose of this study is to reveal the attitudes of poor women served by the Edirne province Community Centre against cooperativization. For this purpose, a questionnaire was applied to 56 women who were served by Community Centres. Women in the province of Edirne Community Center carries out a lot of activities such as: production of soap, sewing-embroidery, collar pin, carries out, painting wood etc. However, women produce high-cost product and to fall to sell the market price of these products. Women’s crafts cooperatives in order to eliminate this problerm needs to be established. Thanks to the cooperative, the women, are going to develop lower cost products and sell products to the market price. Thus, women will be contribute to both family income and the development of the province. According to the results of the questionnaire, it was determined that the women had positive attitudes towards co-operation. According to the Chisquare analysis, it was concluded that there was a statistically significant relationship between establishing cooperatives and women's having an understanding of cooperatives.
