                                                                                                <abstract><p>ÖZETBu yazımızda, Ca(OH) içeren iki yeni kök kanalı dolgu maddesi olan &quot;CRCS&quot; ve &quot;Sealapex&quot; tanıtılmış, endodontik tedavideki kullanımları ve etkileri araştırılmıştır. Bugüne değin, çeşitli araştırmacılar tarafından yapılan in-vitro çalışmalarda gerek &quot;CRCS&quot; ve gerekse &quot;Sealapex&quot; in sert doku oluşumunu indükleyerek apikali tıkama özellikleri &quot;Çinko oksid-öjenol&quot; içeren patlarla karşılaştırılmıştır. Sonuçta, özellikle parsiyel pulpektomi yapılan dişlerde, &quot;CRCS&quot; ve &quot;Sealapex&quot;in apikali tıkama yüzdesi % 70 olarak bildirilmiştir.Biz ise, bu yeni materyaller &quot;Sealapex&quot; ve &quot;CRCS&quot; ile in-vivo araştırmalara ve uzun süreli klinik gözlemlere gereksinim olduğu inancındayız.SUMMARYIn this article, two new Calcium Hydroxide root canal filling materials; &quot;CRCS&quot; and &quot;Sealapex&quot; were described their usage and beneficial effects in endodontic treatment were investigated. Up today, by several investigators, the assesments in-vitro of the induction of hard tissue formation and therefore apical closure properties of both &quot;Sealapex&quot; and &quot;CRCS&quot; were compared with that of &quot;Zinc oxide-eugenol&quot; based pastes.We, however, believe that, with these new materials &quot;Sealapex&quot; and &quot;CRCS&quot; researches in-vivo and long-term clinical observations are needed.</p></abstract>
