Bu yöntemle yapılan protezlerin tutuculuğu kusursuz, estetik görünümü, çiğneme etkinliği yeterli olmaktadır. Uzun sürede, destek dokulara, dişlere ve periodonsiyumlarına olumsuz etki görülmemiştir.Key words: Partial Anodontia, Removable overdenture, Molloplast-B.SUMMARYThis paper reviews the retentive properties of the removable overdenture prostheses indicated in partial anodontia and presents data on a new method developed by the authors during the last 8 years. This method, relying on a soft relining material (Molloplast-B) for retention, is cheaper, simpler and more physiological than other methods reported in the literature. It is reported to be free of mechanical and galvanic undesired effects.Prostheses processed with this method are esthetically pleasing, effective in mastication and display almost perfect retention. In the long run, there was no adverse effect on supporting tissues, teeth and the periodontium.</p>
