THE EFFECTS OF REMOVABLE OVERDENTURE PROSTHESES OF WHICH RETENTION WERE ACHIEVED BY MOLLOPLAST-B ON CHEWING PERFORMANCE (A two-year longitudinal study)Anahtar kelimeler Çiğneme performansı, Molloplast-B, Parsiyel Anodonti, dişüstti protez.Tutuculuğu Molloplast-B ile sağlanmış hareketli dişüstü protezlerin, çiğneme performansına etkileri 5 vaka üzerinde araştırılarak, 2 yıllık gözlemlerin sonuçlan açıklanmıştır.Parsiyel anodonti vakalarına uygulanan bu tür protezler protez öncesi ve protez sonrası belirli periodlarla (1 ay, 3 ay, 1 yıl, 2 yıl) çiğneme performans testleri ile incelenmiştir.Sonuç olarak, tutuculuğu molloplast-B ile sağlanmış müteharrik dişüstü protezlerde çiğneme performansı değerleri protez öncesi değerlere oranla anlamlı derecede artmış ve bu değerler, 2 yıl içinde gittikçe yükselmiştir.Key words; Chewing performance, Molloplast-B, Partial anodontia, overdenture prostheses.In five patients, the effects of removable overdenture prostheses of which retention were achieved by Molloplast-B on chewing performance were investigated and 2 year longitudinal results were explained.These prostheses which were applied for Partial Anodontia cases were investigated with chewing performance tests before and after wearing overdenture prostheses during periodic controls (1st month, 3rd month, 1st year, 2nd year).As a result, in overdenture prostheses of which retention were achieved by Molloplast-B, chewing performance values increased significantly with respect to values before application of the prostheses and these values has increased in 2 years period.
