Article Withdrawal Policy

Every manuscript submitted to the journal undergoes a rigorous preliminary editorial evaluation before being sent to peer review. During this stage, the editorial team invests substantial academic effort and financial resources, including plagiarism detection, similarity checks, citation and formatting analyses, in order to ensure that manuscripts meet the journal’s academic and ethical standards.

For this reason, article withdrawal is not considered a routine or unconditional right once the peer review process has commenced. The journal expects authors to respect the integrity of the editorial and peer review process and the time and effort contributed by editors and reviewers.

Withdrawal before peer review

Authors may request withdrawal before the manuscript enters formal peer review (i.e., during the initial editorial screening stage). Such requests are generally accepted without restriction.

Withdrawal after peer review has started

Once a manuscript has been sent to reviewers, withdrawal requests are considered exceptional and will be evaluated by the Editor-in-Chief on a case-by-case basis.
Requests based solely on reasons such as submitting the manuscript to another journal with perceived higher publication potential are not considered valid grounds for withdrawal.

However, withdrawal may be considered in legitimate and exceptional circumstances, including but not limited to:

the discovery of a serious ethical issue,

significant errors in data or methodology that invalidate the study,

documented authorship disputes or legal concerns.

In such cases, authors must submit a written and reasoned request, and the final decision rests with the editorial board.

Expectation of decision completion

As a matter of editorial ethics and academic courtesy, authors are strongly encouraged to allow the review process to conclude and to wait for a formal editorial decision (acceptance or rejection) before seeking withdrawal.

Simultaneous submissions

In accordance with the journal’s ethical policy, simultaneous submission of a manuscript to more than one journal is strictly prohibited. Manuscripts under consideration by the journal must not be submitted elsewhere until an editorial decision has been communicated.

By submitting a manuscript, authors are deemed to have acknowledged and accepted this policy.

Post-publication

For articles that have already been published, withdrawal is no longer applicable. In such cases, the journal follows established procedures for corrections or retractions, in line with international publication ethics standards.

Ethical compliance

Any confirmed violation of the journal’s ethical policies, including undisclosed simultaneous submission or misrepresentation during the review process, will be handled according to the journal’s ethical guidelines and relevant international standards.
