                            <p>This study analyzes how data generated through Artificial Intelligence (AI) enabled communication tools are utilized in academic research within the field of social sciences. The increasing use of AI highlights that such data should not be regarded merely as technical outputs but as components of a broader communicative process of meaning-making. The aim of the research is to comprehensively identify the methodological advantages, emerging challenges, and ethical concerns associated with the use of AI-generated data. For this purpose, 107 academic articles accessed through three different databases were examined using qualitative content analysis, and thematic patterns were identified via MAXQDA 24 software. The findings reveal that researchers predominantly employ AI tools for functions such as question-answer generation, creative text production, and translation—benefiting from speed, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. At the same time, methodological and ethical limitations were identified, including a lack of contextual sensitivity, issues with accuracy, and algorithmic bias. The relative neglect of ethical concerns across the analyzed studies is particularly noteworthy. This research argues that AI-supported data generation should not only be viewed as an auxiliary mechanism in scientific inquiry but also as an actor requiring epistemological and ethical reflection. The originality of the study lies in being one of the pioneering contributions that addresses a significant gap in this emerging research area.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Bu çalışma, Yapay Zekâ (YZ) destekli iletişim araçlarıyla üretilen verilerin sosyal bilimler alanındaki akademik araştırmalarda nasıl kullanıldığını analiz etmektedir. Artan YZ kullanımı bu verilerin yalnızca teknik çıktılar değil, aynı zamanda iletişimsel bir anlam üretim sürecinin parçası olduğunu göstermektedir. Araştırmanın amacı, bu verilerin sunduğu yöntemsel avantajları, karşılaşılan sorunları ve etik endişeleri bütüncül bir şekilde ortaya koymaktır. Bu doğrultuda üç farklı veri tabanından elde edilen 107 akademik araştırma nitel içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiş ve MAXQDA 24 yazılımı kullanılarak temalar oluşturulmuştur. Bulgular araştırmacıların YZ araçlarını en çok soru-cevap, yaratıcı metin üretimi ve çeviri gibi işlevlerle kullandığını; hız, verimlilik ve maliyet avantajları sağladığını ortaya koymaktadır. Aynı zamanda bağlamdan kopukluk, doğruluk sorunları ve algoritmik önyargı gibi yöntemsel ve etik sınırlılıklar da belirlenmiştir. Etik kaygıların yeterince ele alınmaması dikkat çekicidir. Çalışma YZ destekli veri üretiminin bilimsel araştırmalarda yalnızca yardımcı araçlar değil, aynı zamanda epistemolojik ve etik değerlendirme gerektiren aktörler olduğunu savunmaktadır. Çalışmanın özgünlüğü bu alandaki boşluğu dolduran öncü çalışmalardan biri olmasıdır.</p></abstract>
