Selection For Egg Prodiction Traits In Purebred Browb Egg Layers

Abstract

In this research, the average variances for different production traits have been conducted in terms of examining the data obtained during the seven years from the purebred hens at the Poultry Research Institute of Ankara. Records were obtained from total of 16303 purebred brown egg layers, between 1996 and 2002 years. In the present study data of four pure lines; age at first egg, body weight at first egg, egg number to 43 weeks and egg weight were used. Means of the traits in the purebred brown egg layers; age at first egg 152 to 174, body weight at first egg 1620 to 2018, egg number to 43 weeks 99 to 131, egg weight 54.6 to 61.7 were calculated.

Kahverengi Yumurtacı Saf Hatların Yumurta Verim Özellikleri Bakımından Seleksiyonu

Abstract

Bu çalışmada Ankara Tavukçuluk Araştırma Enstitüsü’nde yetiştirilen saf hatlardan dördünün yedi yıllık verilerine dayanılarak çeşitli özellikler için ortalamanın değişimi incelenmiştir. Veriler 1996 - 2002 yıllan arasında yetiştirilen toplam 16303 kahverengi yumurtacı tavuktan elde edilmiştir. Çalışmada 4 saf hattın; cinsi olgunluk yaşı (COY), cinsi olgunluk ağırlığı (COA), 43 haftalık yumurta verimi (TYV) ve yumurta ağırlığına (TYAO) ait veriler kullanılmıştır. Hemen her generasyon bu dört özellik esas alınarak elde edilen indeks değerine göre seleksiyon yapılan hatlarda ortalama degerler; COY’da 152 ile 174, COAG’da 1620 ile 2018, TYV’de 99 ile 131 ve TYAO’da 54.6 ile 61.7 arasında hesaplanmıştır
