Kanatlılarda Sağlıklı Bağırsak Mikroflorası Gelişimi Üzerine Beslemenin Etkileri

Year 2010, Volume: 9 Issue: 1, 48 - 55, 01.05.2010

Abstract

Effects of Nutrition on the Development of Healthy Intestinal Microflora in Poultry

Year 2010, Volume: 9 Issue: 1, 48 - 55, 01.05.2010

Abstract

The intensive selection applied to poultry production leads not only to the high performance but also to the efficient feed utilization. But the cost of these improvements obtained in live weight gain and feed efficiency caused to increased sensitivity for environmental factors and as a result immune system in animals and many biological balances, including microflora have been destructed. Prohibition of the use of antibiotics as feed additives in poultry and, consequently, the need to provide a healthy intestinal microflora triggers the greatest interest in finding an alternative to this dilemma. Lactobacillus bacteria and the use of substances contributing to the development of healthy intestinal microflora in poultry, such as prebiotics, enzymes, herbal extracts and organic acids in poultry diets could be an important tool in the development of a healthy microflora and the immune system.
