he place of electric vehicle technology in the developing automotive industry is increasing daily. Battery management systems (BMS) and their operation are essential among the working systems of these vehicles. Within the scope of this study, a unique battery pack was designed, using local resources, by using 18650 Li-ion charged and long-lasting batteries. This designed battery pack consists of 21 batteries. When the necessary connections of the battery pack are made, a battery pack with a voltage of 11.1 V and a capacity of 10500 mAh has been produced. The design is aimed to prevent problems such as overheating and ignition by covering the battery pack with non-combustible material. For this designed battery pack to be discharged and charged healthily, the battery management system has been designed as controllable uniquely. By automatically detecting the number of cells in the battery pack and using a special balancing algorithm, the temperature of the battery pack is controlled using a temperature sensor and an externally attachable temperature sensor input for balancing continuously during the charge, monitoring the state of charge and the health of the battery cells, monitoring the temperature of the battery pack. In temperature controls made under different test conditions, BMS's longevity was ensured using an aluminium heatsink with double fans.
