Review of Logistic and Cox Regression Models

Abstract

In this study, Logistic regression and Cox regression models used to identify risk factors of any event in epidemiologic studies are investigated. These models and mathematical relationship and comparisons between the them are explained. An application is carried out by using gastric cancer data.

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, epidemiyolojik çalışmalarda herhangi bir olayın risk faktörlerini belirlemek için kullanılan lojistik regresyon ve Cox regresyon modelleri ele alınmıştır. Bu modeller hakkında bilgi verilmiş, aralarındaki matematiksel ilişkiden ve karşılaştırmalardan bahsedilmiştir, Mide kanseri verileri kullanılarak bir uygulama yapılmıştır.
