Telositlerin Morfolojisi ve Fonksiyonları

Abstract

Birçok organ ve dokunun stromasında ortaya çıkan bir hücre popülasyonu olan telositler, telopod olarak adlandırılan değişken sayıda çok uzun ince sitoplazmik uzantılarıyla ve göze çarpmayan küçük hücre gövdeleri ile karakterizedir. Bu hücreleri belirlemek için immünohistokimsayasal boyama teknikleri ve elektron mikroskop yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Telopodlar, telositlerin homo- veya hetero-hücresel temaslar oluşturmasına yardımcı olur, böylece organların stromal ve parankimal bileşenlerini düzenleyen üç boyutlu ağlar oluşturur. Telositler, kısa mesafeli bir iletişim sağlayarak komşu hücrelere bilgi aktarabilir ve eksozomlar, ektozomlar ve multiveziküler kargolar gibi çeşitli hücre dışı vezikülleri ile hücre içi sinyal iletişimine karışmaktadır. Bu derlemede telositlerin morfolojik özelikleri, farklı organlarda ve dokulardaki dağılımlarına, fonksiyonlarına ve moleküler belirteçlerine değinilmiştir.
