Uzaktan Öğretimi Uzaktan Eğitim Yöntemi İle Öğrenmek: “E-Eğitmen Sertifika Programı”

Abstract

e-Öğrenme sürecinde kalite ve başarıyı arttırmak için, bu süreçlerde rol alabilecek ya da öğretim
süreçlerini teknoloji ile desteklemek isteyecek eğitmenlerin, teknoloji kullanımı konusunda güncel
bilgi, beceri ve değerlerle donanmış olması gerekmektedir. Bu nedenle beklenen gelişim düzeyinin
sağlanabilmesi amacıyla eğitmenlere mesleki gelişim olanakları sunulmalıdır. Bu gerçekler ışığında
uzaktan eğitim ya da geleneksel eğitim sürecinde teknolojiden yararlanmak isteyen eğitmenlere
“e-Eğitmen Sertifika Programı” düzenlenmiştir. Bu araştırmanın amacı, e-Eğitmen sertifika
programının beklentileri ne düzeyde karşıladığını ve ne düzeyde başarılı olduğunu belirlemektir.
Programın değerlendirilebilmesi amacıyla tarama yöntemi kullanılmış, programa ilişkin görüşler açıkuçlu
soruların da yer aldığı bir anket aracılığı ile elde edilmiştir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre eğitmenlerin,
öğretim programı, öğretim içeriği, öğrenme-öğretme süreci ve e-Değerlendirmeye ilişkin görüşlerinin
genel olarak olumlu olduğu (X ̅≥4,4) görülmektedir. Ancak öneriler doğrultusunda (uygulama, örnek,
ders sayısı, içerik, mesaj, çevrimiçi destek vb.) iyileştirme ve güncelleme yapılması önerilmektedir.

Learning Distance Teaching via Distance Learning: “E-Instructor Certificate Program”

Abstract

For enhancement of quality and achievement in e-learning, instructors, who are possessing active
roles in e-learning and wanting to support instructional processes with technology, have to be equipped
with up-to-date information, skills and values for effective integration of technology into education.
Therefore, in order to ensure the desired level of development, professional development opportunities
should be provided to instructors. Under the light of these facts, for providing such an opportunity to
instructors who want to take advantage of technology in distance education or traditional education,
“e-Instructor Certificate Program” is organized. The purpose of this research study is to investigate
to what extend the “e-Instructor Certificate Program” meet the expectations and successful. In
accordance to evaluate the program, survey method is used, and opinions about the program have
been obtained by means of a questionnaire including open-ended questions. According to results,
instructors’ opinions about curriculum, content, instruction process, and e-Evaluation (X ̅≥4,4) were
found to be positive in general. Nevertheless, improvements and updating according to suggestions
(tasks, samples, number of courses, content, messages, online support etc.) were recommended.
