Abstract
This study aims to show the role of the research and application centers for women's issues at the universities of our country in the field of public relations. In this direction, the aims of the centers, their contributions to the university, their planned and realized practices in the framework of public relations were studied. Data were subjected to both content and descriptive analysis using the MAXQDA 20 program, and the findings were analyzed by interpreting. As a result of the research, women's research centers were found to play the role of " expert prescriber" "communication facilitator," "problem-solving process facilitator," "communication technician," "persuader," "advocate," "educator and information provider," "image and reputation manager," "relationship builder," and "cultural tool" in public relations.
