Gençlerin Kariyer Planlamasında Sivil Toplum Kuruluşlarının Rolleri

Year 2024, Volume: 10 Issue: 1, 1 - 19, 30.06.2024

Abstract

Bu çalışma, Türkiye’deki sivil toplum kuruluşlarının (STK) gençlerin kariyer planlamalarındaki rollerini analiz etmektedir. Araştırma, STK’ların gençlere sunduğu eğitim programları, mentorluk, kariyer danışmanlığı ve iş bulma destekleri gibi hizmetlerin gençlerin iş dünyasına hazırlanmalarındaki rollerini ele almakta; özellikle dezavantajlı gençlerin topluma entegrasyonu ve eşit kariyer fırsatları oluşturulması konusunda bu kuruluşların ne gibi katkılar sağladığını incelenmektedir. Literatür taraması yöntemiyle gerçekleştirilen bu çalışma, STK’ların gençlerin sosyal ve ekonomik anlamda güçlenmelerine olanak tanıdığı sonucuna ulaşmıştır. Bulgular, STK’ların sağladığı desteklerin gençlerin kariyer gelişimlerine olumlu etkilerde bulunduğunu ve iş bulma süreçlerini hızlandırdığını göstermektedir. Ayrıca, bu kuruluşların sunduğu programlar gençlerin iş piyasasına daha hazırlıklı girmelerini sağlamakta, ekonomik bağımsızlıklarını teşvik ederken sosyo-ekonomik gelişmeye doğrudan katkıda bulunmaktadır. Çalışmada, STK’ların gençlere yönelik faaliyetlerinin sürdürülebilirliği ve etkinliği açısından kaynak kısıtlılıkları nedeniyle bazı zorluklarla karşılaştığı görülmüş ve bu alanda yapılan çalışmaların sürdürülebilirliğinin önemine işaret edilmiştir.

The Role of Non-Governmental Organizations in Career Planning of Young People

Year 2024, Volume: 10 Issue: 1, 1 - 19, 30.06.2024

Abstract

This study analyzes the role of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) in the career planning of young people in Turkey. The study examines the role of NGOs' services such as training programs, mentoring, career counseling and job placement support in preparing young people for the business world, and examines how these organizations contribute to the integration of disadvantaged youth into society and the creation of equal career opportunities. This study, which is based on a literature review, concludes that NGOs enable young people to become socially and economically empowered. The findings show that the support provided by NGOs has a positive impact on young people's career development and accelerates the process of finding a job. In addition, the programs offered by these organizations enable young people to enter the labor market better prepared and directly contribute to socio-economic development while promoting their economic independence. The study found that NGOs face some challenges in terms of the sustainability and effectiveness of their activities for young people due to resource constraints and pointed out the importance of sustainability of the work carried out in this field.
