Amaç: Buçalışma lisans düzeyinde iktisat eğitimi alan öğrencilerin, iktisat bölümünütercih etmesi ile başlayan süreçte karşılaştıkları sorunları tespit etmeyi veçözüm önerileri sunmayı amaçlamaktadır.Yöntem: Bununiçin; Dumlupınar Üniversitesinde, iktisat programında eğitim alan rastgeleseçilmiş son sınıfa kayıtlı 150 öğrenciye, üç farklı soru grubu yöneltilmiştir.Betimsel soru grubu ile ankete katılan öğrencilerin – ailelerinin gelirdüzeyleri ve ailelerinin eğitim durumları saptanmaya çalışılmış, ikinci grupsorular ile öğrencilerin iktisat programına bakışları saptanmaya çalışılmıştır.Üçüncü grup sorular ise derslerin içeriği ve işlenişine ilişkin sorulardır.Çalışmada öncelikle iktisadın bir bilim olarak ortaya çıkışı ve gelişiminekısaca yer verilecek ve bu süreçte iktisat ve eğitiminin karşılaştığı sorunlaradeğinilecektir.Bulgu:Anketlerdenelde edilen bulgular ışığında, Dumlupınar Üniversitesi İktisat programındaeğitim alan iktisat öğrencilerinin genel bir görüntüsü oluşturularak,karşılaşılan sorunlara çözüm önerileri getirilecektir.
Objectives: This study aims to determine the problems faced by the students who have economics education at the undergraduate level starting with the process of choosing of the department of economics and to propose solutions.Methods: For this; three different question groups were directed to 150 students selected at random in the economics department last class in Dumlupınar University. Descriptive questionnaire was used to determine the income levels of the students and their families participating in the survey and the educational status of their families, the students' views on the economics section were tried to be identified with the second group of questions. The third group of questions are questions about the content and functioning of the lessons. In the study, firstly the emergence and development of economics as a science will be briefly mentioned and the problems faced by economics education will be addressed in this process.Results: Afterwards, in the light of the findings obtained from the applied questionnaires, a general image of the economics students who were educated in Dumlupınar University Economics Program will be presented and solutions will be provided for the problems encountered.
