Beden Eğitimi ve Spor Öğretmen Adaylarının Özelleşmiş Alan Bilgisi Düzeylerinin İncelenmesi: Raket Sporları Örneği

Abstract

Alan bilgisi bir öğretmenin öğrencilerine öğreteceği konu alanı ile ilgili ihtiyaç duyduğu anlık bilgi olarak ifade edilmektedir. Alan bilgisi, genel alan bilgisi (GAB) ve özelleşmiş alan bilgisi (ÖAB) olarak iki alt boyutta incelenmektedir. Beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenlerinin öğretmen yetişitrme kurumlarından mezun olmadan önce hem GAB hem de ÖAB düzeylerinin yeterli olması beklenmektedir. Bu çalışmanın amacı raket sporlarından badminton ve masa tenisi derslerini yeni tamamlayan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmen adaylarının ÖAB düzeylerinin incelenmesidir. Çalışmada betimsel tarama yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Çalışmaya beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği bölümünde öğrenim gören 7 kadın ve 18 erkek olmak üzere toplam 25 beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmen adayı katılmıştır. Beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmen adaylarının 12’si (5 kadın ve 7 erkek) badminton dersini; 13’ü (2 kadın ve 11 erkek) masa tenisi dersini takip etmişlerdir. Katılımcıların yaş ortalaması badminton dersini dersini takip edenler için 21.75 (SS=1.13), masa tenisi dersini takip edenler için 23 (SS=2.64) olarak belirlenmiştir. Katılımcıların ÖAB düzeylerini değerlendirmek için içerik haritaları kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizi için tanımlayıcı istatistik analizi tercih edilmiştir. Bulgulara göre raket sporları dersini yeni tamamlayan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmen adaylarından badminton dersini takip edenlerin ÖAB düzeyleri 0.82 (Ss=1.09), masa tenisi dersini takip edenlerin ÖAB düzeyleri 0.78 (Ss=1.06) olarak tespit edilmiştir. Sonuç olarak raket sporlarından badminton ve masa tenisi derslerini yeni tamamlayan beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmen adayları yeterli ÖAB düzeyine (3.0 ve üzeri) ulaşamamışlardır. Bu doğrultuda beden eğitimi ve spor öğretmenliği programlarında öğretmen adaylarına öğretilen fiziksel aktivite ve spor derslerinin içeriğinin ÖAB’ne odaklanacak şekilde düzenlenmesi önerilmektedir.
