Objective:This descriptive study aims to determine the anger of expressing adolescents living with their family and living in orphanages.Method: The sample of the study were based upon 286 students in Gazi High School in 2003-2004 educational year, 100 students living in Keçiören, Gazi, 50. Yıl orphanage and attending the high school. Personal information form prepared by the researcher and "Multidimensional Anger Inventory" adapted by Balkaya to our country were used as data gathering tools.Percentage, İndependent Groups t-Test were used in the evaluation of the data. Results:Results of the study showed that, the point of being criticited, being un justiced, not being taken seriously and grievely behaviours for the adolescents living with family were higher than those living in orphanages. Anger towards the world and others for the adolescents living in orphanages were found higher than those living with their family. Conclusion: With regard to the findings of the research, proposals were made like educating the willing groups in the subjec tof coping with their angers, forming advisory and educatory programs by the school nurse tothe families about the approaches to the female adolescents
