ETHICS COMMITTEE APPROVAL
ULAKBIM TR directory Committee requests that Ethics Committee approval be obtained for research conducted in all branches of science, including Social Sciences, upon the change made in the journal evaluation criteria for 2020, and that this approval be stated and documented in the article.
En in accordance with the index evaluation criteria, this amendment contained in Article 8 requires that the permission information (name, date and number of the Ethics Committee) contained in the ethics committee approval should be included in the method section of the article, as well as on the first/last page of the article, in studies requiring the permission of the Ethics Committee, the process of which begins in 2020. In this direction, it will be sent to our journal for publication in the next process;
(1) all research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group work, observation, experiment, interview techniques
(2) in research in which humans and animals (including material/data) are used for experimental or other scientific purposes
(3) clinical trials on humans
(4) animal research
(5) in accordance with the law on the protection of personal data, information about the ethics board in retrospective research must be included in the relevant sections, as well as compliance with the ethics of research and publication.
* In case reports to be sent outside of research articles;
(1) indicating that the illuminated consent form has been obtained
(2) obtaining and specifying permission from the owners for the use of scales, surveys, photographs belonging to others; and
(2) it is necessary to indicate that copyright regulations are complied with for the ideas and works of art used.
* Ethics Committee approval will not be required for compilation articles.
For articles that are currently ongoing in our journal and have Ethics Committee approval, the authors responsible should add the information about ethics committee approval to their work as stated above after the evaluation process is completed and it is finalized that they will be published. Researchers who are not members of the University are required to apply to the ethics boards in their region and obtain Ethics Board approval for their research, which requires ethics board approval.
