Bu çalışma, Taha Abdurrahman’ın Ahlak Sorunsalı eserini merkeze alarak modern düşüncede akıl-ahlâk ilişkisini ve bu ilişkinin yol açtığı teorik ve pratik krizleri incelemektedir. Müellifin temel iddiası, modern çağda aklın ahlâkî zeminden koparılmasıyla insanın anlam, değer ve istikrar kaybına sürüklendiği yönündedir. Abdurrahman’ın eserinde, ahlâkın dinî bağlamından soyutlanmasıyla birlikte Batı ahlâk teorilerinde ortaya çıkan kavramsal ve metodolojik sorunlar incelenmekte; Immanuel Kant, David Hume ve modern tekno-bilimsel rasyonalizm çerçevesinde geliştirilen yaklaşımlar onun eleştirel perspektifi üzerinden değerlendirilmektedir. Ayrıca modern medeniyetin “bilgi” ve “teknoloji” merkezli yapısının ürettiği ahlâkî krizler analiz edilmekte; buna karşılık Kur’ân’ın anlam, değer ve sorumluluk ufkunu merkeze alan Taha Abdurrahman’ın ahlâk anlayışı, “kulluk teorisi” ve “fiil medeniyeti” kavramları bağlamında bir çözüm önerisi olarak sunulmaktadır.
This study centers on Taha Abdurrahman’s work “The Problematic of Ethics” to examine the relationship between reason and ethics in modern thought, along with the theoretical and practical crises this relationship has precipitated. The author’s fundamental claim is that in the modern era, the severance of reason from its ethical foundation has led humanity to a loss of meaning, value, and stability. Within Abdurrahman’s work, the conceptual and methodological problems that emerged in Western ethical theories as ethics was abstracted from its religious context are examined; approaches developed within the frameworks of Immanuel Kant, David Hume, and modern techno-scientific rationalism are evaluated through his critical perspective. Furthermore, the ethical crises produced by the “knowledge” and “technology”-centric structure of modern civilization are analyzed. In contrast, Taha Abdurrahman’s ethical understanding, which centers the horizon of meaning, value, and responsibility in the Qur’an, is presented as a solution through the concepts of “servanthood theory” and “civilization of action”.
