Abstract

We present a case young woman who presented with right gaze limitation and right eye limitation of adduction with horizontal nystagmus on abduction left side (one-and-a-half syndrome) in addition to a right-sided lower motor neuron facial nerve palsy which is called eight-and-a-half syndrome. The etiology in our patient was multiple sclerosis which was confirmed by medical history and magnetic resonance imaging.

Abstract

Bu olguda sol tarafta abdüksiyon ile, sağda horizontal
nistagmus (sekizbuçuk sendromu) ve sağ göz adduksiyon
kısıtlılığı ile birlikte sağ bakış kısıtlılığına ek olarak sağ taraf
alt motor nöron fasiyal sinir paralizisi ile karşımıza çıkan
sekiz buçuk sendromlu bir kadın hastayı sunduk. Hastamızın
etiyolojisi medikal öykü ve manyetik rezonans görüntüleme
ile doğrulanmış olup; multiple skleroz tanısı mevcuttu.
