Kalça Displazisi Hastalığının Tedavisinde Otogref Blok Darthroplasti Operasyonu ve Sonuçlarının Kangal Irkı Bir Köpekte Değerlendirilmesi

Year 2014, Volume: 7 Issue: 2, 73 - 78, 01.12.2014

Abstract

Evaluation of Block Type Autograft Darthroplasty Operation and its Results in the Treatment of Canine Hip Displasia Disease in a Turkish Shepperd Dog

Year 2014, Volume: 7 Issue: 2, 73 - 78, 01.12.2014

Abstract

Canine Hip Dysplasia disease can be defined as incongruent development of the hip architecture causing laxity of the hip joint. Early diagnosis and following treatments limits the extend of damage by the aid of various operational methods. These methods aims to increase the congruence of hip joint structures to prolong the development of degenerative joint disease in the late phases of the disease. Darthroplasty is one of the operational methods aiming to augment the dorsal acetabular rim with autograft bone material for the prevention of early detrimental effect of luxation on joint elements. The studies about Darthroplasty have not been found in current Turkish literature therefore this case report aims to represent the Darthroplasty treatment method and its results of a young dog with canine hip dysplasia.
