Abstract

In this paper, first of all, the mechanism of the spontaneous combustion and the factors affecting, liability of coal to spontaneous combustion are explained. Then, spontaneous combustion determination methods are explained, emphasize is given on the adiabatic oxidation method, which better represents mine environments. The risk classification of underground coal mines are reviewed according to spontaneous combustion determination methods and five different classification systems are presented. Finally, a summary of the researches conducted on the spontaneous combustion liab/dity index determination of underground coalmines in Turkey is compiled

Abstract

Bu yazıda, öncelikle kömürlerin kendiliğinden yanma mekanizması ve kendiliğinden yanmaya yatkınlık derecelerini etkileyen faktörler anlatılmıştır. Daha sonra, kendiliğinden yanma tespit yöntemleri verilmiş, özellikle ocak şartlarını iyi temsil eden bir yöntem olan adiyabatik yöntem tanıtılmıştır. Yeraltı kömür ocaklarının risk sınıflaması kendiliğinden yanma tespit yöntemlerine göre derlenerek beş risk sınıflama sistemi verilmiştir. Son olarak da, ülkemizdeki yeraltı kömür ocaklarının kendiliğinden yanmaya yatkınlık derecelerinin tespiti ile ilgili yapılan çalışmaların bir özeti sunulmuştur
