In Situ Leaching Methods and Grade-Tonnage Relationship

Abstract

In situ mining is a proven and competitive method of exploiting low grade ores. The increase in tonnage with a decrease in grade and the impossibility of economically min­ing of such low grade resources with conventional mining methods brings out the con­clusion that in situ leaching is a suitable method of maximizing the total net profit and the return on investment. The purpose of this article is to review some of the technical and economic aspects of in situ leaching with the emphasis on grade-tonnage relationship

Abstract

Düşük tenörlü cevherlerin değerlendirilmesinde en uygun yöntemlerden birinin yerin­de liç olduğu bilinmektedir. Tenördeki azalmaya karşılık tonajdaki artış ve bunun bir so­nucu olarak ortaya çıkan düşük tenörlü büyük rezervler klasik madencilik yöntemleri ile ekonomik olarak değerlendirilememektedir. Bu tür yatakların değerlendirilmesinde top­lam net kâr ve yatırımın geri dönüşü bakımından en uygun yöntemlerden biri yerinde liç uygulaması olmaktadır. Bu derlemenin amacı, tenör-tonaj ilişkisinin önemini vurgulayarak, teknik ve ekono­mik açıdan yerinde liç uygulamaları konusunda bilgi vermektir
