                                                                                                <abstract><p>Bu çalışmada, anoksik-aerobik ardışık kesiklireaktörde azot giderme performansına aerobik fazdaki çözünmüş oksijen kontrolününetkisi araştırılmıştır. Aerobik fazda çözünmüş oksijen kontrolünün yapılmadığıardışık kesikli reaktör (R1) ve aerobik fazda çözünmüş oksijenkonsantrasyonunun 2 mg/L’de kontrol edildiği ardışık kesikli reaktör (R2) olmaküzere iki ardışık kesikli reaktörde çalışma tamamlanmıştır. TIN (Toplaminorganik azot) giderme verimi R1’de % 46, R2’de % 53’dür. Sonuçlar; aerobikfazda çözünmüş oksijen konsantrasyonunun 2 mg/L’de kontrol edilmesiyle dahayüksek azot giderimi elde edildiğini göstermiştir. Ayrıca, havalandırmakontrolü ile daha az elektrik tüketimi ve işletme maliyetinde tasarruf eldeedilecektir.</p></abstract>

                            <p>In this study, theeffect of dissolved oxygen control at the aerobic phase on nitrogen removalperformance in anoxic-aerobic sequencing batch reactor was investigated. Thestudy was completed in two sequencing batch reactor, without dissolved oxygencontrol at the aerobic phase (R1) and with dissolved oxygen control at 2 mg/Lat the aerobic phase (R2). TIN removal efficiencies in R1 and R2 were % 46 and% 53, respectively. The results demonstrated that the higher nitrogen removalefficiency was achieved with dissolved oxygen control at 2 mg/L at the aerobicphase. Moreover, lower electricity consumption and saving in operation costswill be achieved by means of aeration control.</p></trans-abstract>
