                                                                                                <abstract><p>Veri haberciliği, haber yapma pratiklerinin değiştiği en önemli alanlardandır. Verileri toplama, ayıklama, analiz etme ve görselleştirme süzgeçlerinden geçirerek haber hikâyesi yaratır. Veri haberciliği geleneksel haberciliğin sağlayamayacağı erişim hızı ve kolaylığı, açık veri, şeffaflık gibi pek çok olanağa sahiptir. Ancak bunun karşısında, veri mahremiyeti pazarlaması ve öznellik gibi olumsuzlukları da bünyesinde barındırmaktadır. Bu çalışmada, veri haberciliği ve bu habercilik türüne yönelik tartışmalar incelenerek veri haberciliğinin ne olduğuna ilişkin medya profesyonellerinin bakış açıları, habercilik üzerindeki etkileri ve veri haberciliğinin şeffaf topluma teşvik mi yoksa kişisel veri mahremiyeti pazarlaması mı oluşturduğu tartışması araştırılmıştır. Çalışmada betimsel analiz yöntemi kullanılarak veri gazeteciliğine dair tecrübesi olan gazeteci ve akademisyenlerle derinlemesine görüşmeler yapılmıştır. Bu bağlamda, araştırma bulgularında veri haberciliği, verilerin kaynak olarak kullanıldığı habercilik türü olarak nitelendirilmiş ve verinin habercilik alanını oldukça olumlu etkilediği üzerinde durulmuştur. Bulgularda, veri haberciliğinin şeffaf topluma geçişi teşvik ettiği düşünülürken kişisel veri mahremiyetini pazarlayıp pazarlamadığına dair görüşlerin farklılaştığı görülmüştür.</p></abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <trans-abstract xml:lang="en">
                            <p>Data journalism is one of the most important fields where making news practices has changed. It creates a news story by collecting, picking, analyzing, and visualizing filters. Data journalism has such opportunities as the speed of access, open data, and transparency that traditional journalism can not supply. However, it contains such negativities as subjectivity and personal data privacy marketing. In this study, the professionals&#039; perspective about what is data journalism, its effects on journalism and whether this is an encouragement for the transparent community or a kind of personal data privacy marketing or not and data journalism concept have been that opened up for discussion by examining debates towards this kind of journalism. In this study, in-depth interviews have been had with the relevant expert journalists and academicians by using a descriptive analysis method. In this context, data journalism is defined as the journalism that uses the data as a source, and the data’s positive effects on the field of journalism were emphasized. In findings, it has thought that the data journalism encourages transpassing to the transperant society and there has been seen various perspectives about is it a markets personal data privacy or not.</p></trans-abstract>
