<p>This study aims to argue and focus on the social exclusion experiences and obstacles of individuals who have rejoined the society after juridical processes and are being labelled as “criminal” or “convicted”. Beingoffender may result in a sharp break in both private and social life of an individuals, bringing into question thereconstitution of some processes such as socialization and social integration in terms of both society andindividual. This situation involves, along with the processes of exclusion, labelling, othering, also the loss of thesocial-cultural and economic life of the individual and as well as the reconstruction of it. When it comes tosocial deviance and crime, processes such as social exclusion, social isolation and labelling, which lead todisintegration, occur as prominent issues. This study, in this context, based on the arguments over theseconcepts, seeks to argue, by means of the results of the survey conducted with the people under probation, howbeing an offender influences his/her relations of family and social; what fundamental problems the individual asan offender.</p></trans-abstract>
