Abstract

The “Ahl al-Kahf” Story: Written by one of the Syrian Story Writers Jasem al-Humaydi The story of the Syrian narrator, Muhammad Jasem al-Humaydi, is a fantastic story that he has written imitating the parable of Ahl al-Kahf has aforementioned in the Holy Quran. In this narrative, the author touched upon social troubles such as bribery, corruption and injustice in the country he lived in and he increased literary value of his work with arts such as simile, internal and external dialogue, irony in his literary work

Abstract

Suriyeli öykü yazarı Muhammed Câsim el-Humeydî’nin Ehlu’l-Kehf adlı öyküsü, Kur’ân-ı Kerîm’de bahsi geçen Ashâb-ı Kehf kıssasına öykünerek kaleme aldığı fantastik bir öyküdür. Yazar bu öyküsünde içinde yaşadığı ülkedeki rüşvet, yolsuzluk, adaletsizlik gibi sosyal sıkıntılara değinmiş ve kendine has anlatım üslubuyla kaleme aldığı bu edebi çalışmasında teşbih, iç ve dış diyalog, ironi gibi sanatlarla eserinin edebî değerini artırmıştır
