ON THE UTILITIES OF EVALUATING HADITHS VARIANTS TOGETHER

Abstract

It’s fact that the hadith variants had increased with various reasons after
the Prophet. Our scholars tried to understand the hadiths evaluating hadiths variants
together. The advantage of evaluating hadiths variants together is utilized both
in the variant and in the text. The variant evaluation by collecting hadiths is very
important in the point of wiev of reliability of variant. The evaluating of text with
the same manner is also generally get easy the understanding of the text. Because,
it’s known that the hadiths explain each other. Indeed the result of evaluating
hadiths which has different variants get provided the better understandihg of
hadiths. Considering these facts we can say that usûl-i hadith based on the basis of
evaluating hadith variants together and it isn’t overstated as well.
