Abstract
The purpose of this research was to analyze the changes on students' attitudes towards
"teaching" as a profession during undergraduate education. Data has been gathered from
Kırıkkale University's Teacher Education Department's all 1.2.3. and 4.th grade students in
2001 May. SPSS 10.0 (Statistical Packet for Social Sciences) was the packet programme
used for analyzing the data. At the result of the research, it has been concluded that students
have developed positive attitudes towards being a teacher during undergraduate education.
