                            <p>Aim: The research conducted as a descriptive study to determine the evaluation of the knowledge, attitudes and practices of nurses working in a city hospital about COVID-19. Methods: &quot;Introductory Information Form&quot; and &quot;Information, Attitudes and Behaviors Questionnaire Form about COVID-19&quot; were created by the researchers according to the literature. The data of the study were collected through an online questionnaire between 1 February 2021 and 1May 2021, and 236 nurses participated in the research. Frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation were used in the evaluation of the data. Results: Nurses’ attitudes toward COVID-19; 41.5% “afraid of occupational exposure due to COVID-19 infection”, 52.5% “afraid of infect their family members by occupational exposure infection”, 45.8% “feeling themselves depressed/tired due to current pandemic” , 38.6% “feeling stressed is affecting their duties”, 41.1% “emotions of stress is affecting their relationship with their colleagues and family members”. Nurses&#039; practices to prevent COVID-19 were; 56.4% “use alcohol-based hand scrubs or soap and water before touching a patient”, 60.6% “use personal protective equipment during care”, 32.6% “avoid close contact with patients who have respiratory symptoms”. Of the nurses, 46.6% stated that  &quot;individuals who have traveled to infected areas in the last 14 days or have a history of contact with a COVID-19 case&quot;, 44.1% stated that &quot;individuals who experience suspicious symptoms of COVID-19 such as fever, dry cough and shortness of breath&quot;, 46.6% &quot; stated that individuals who panic because of suspicious exposure should have a laboratory test. Conclusion: It was determined that nurses&#039; knowledge, attitudes and practices towards coronavirus disease were at a sufficient level.</p></trans-abstract>
                                                                                                                                    <abstract><p>Amaç: Araştırma, şehir hastanesinde görev yapan hemşirelerin COVID-19&#039;a yönelik bilgi, tutum ve uygulamalarını belirlemek amacıyla tanımlayıcı olarak yapılmıştır. Yöntem: Araştırmacılar tarafından literatür doğrultusunda “Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu”, “COVID-19’a Yönelik Bilgi, Tutum ve Davranışlar Anket Formu” oluşturulmuştur. Araştırmanın verileri 1 Şubat 2021-1 Mayıs 2021 tarihleri arasında çevrimiçi anket aracılığı ile toplanmış ve araştırmaya 236 hemşire katılmıştır. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde frekans, yüzde, ortalama ve standart sapma kullanılmıştır. Bulgular: Hemşirelerin COVID-19&#039;a karşı tutumları; %41.5’i “mesleki maruziyet nedeniyle COVID-19 bulaşmasından korktuğunu”, %52.5’i “mesleki maruziyet nedeniyle aile üyelerine enfeksiyon bulaştırmaktan korktuğunu”, %45.8’i “pandemi nedeniyle kendilerini depresyonda/bitkin hissettiğini”, %38.6’sı “stres duygularının görevlerini etkilediğini”, %41.1’i “stres duygularının iş arkadaşları ve aile üyeleri ile ilişkilerini etkilendiğini” ifade etmiştir. Hemşirelerin COVID-19’u önlemeye yönelik uygulamalarının; %56.4’ünün “bir hastaya dokunmadan önce alkol bazlı el dezenfektanı veya sabun ve su kullanma”, %60.6’sının “bakım sırasında kişisel koruyucu ekipmanları kullanma”, %32.6’sının “solunum semptomları olan hastalarla yakın temastan kaçınma” olduğu belirlendi. Hemşirelerin %46.6’sının “son 14 gün içinde enfekte bölgelere seyahat eden veya COVID-19 vakasıyla temas öyküsü olan&quot;, %44.1’inin &quot;ateş, kuru öksürük ve nefes darlığı gibi COVID-19&#039;un şüpheli belirtilerini yaşayan&quot;, %46.6’sının “şüpheli maruziyet nedeniyle paniğe kapılan”  bireylerin laboratuar testi yaptırmaları gerektiğini ifade etmiştir. Sonuç: Hemşirelerin koronavirüs hastalığına (COVID-19) yönelik bilgi, tutum ve uygulamalarının yeterli düzeyde olduğu saptanmıştır</p></abstract>
