<p>Aim: To determine how healthcare professionals&#039; perceived servant leadership affects their workplace engagement. Method: The data of the cross-sectional study was collected between 05-27 January 2021. The study was conducted with the participation of 280 employees working in one Provincial Health Directorate and two District Health Directorates. The data collection form consists of 40 questions in three sections. The first section includes socio-demographic and work-life characteristics of healthcare professionals (9 questions), the second section includes the &quot;Servant Leadership Scale&quot; (14 questions), and the third section includes the &quot;Utrecht Work Engagement Scale&quot; (17 questions). Pearson Correlation and Linear Regression Analysis were used for statistical analysis. Result: It was observed that the levels of servant leadership perception ((x̄=55.5) and work engagement status (x̄=86.8) of healthcare professionals were above scale averages. A positive moderate relationship (r=0.487) was found between servant leadership and work engagement, with servant leadership explained 24.3% of the variance in work engagement. Conclusion: It’s shown that leaders exhibiting servant leadership behaviors have a low but positive impact on healthcare professionals’ work engagement. It is recommended that leaders with servant leadership qualities should be selected from among dominant individuals.</p></trans-abstract>
