Abstract

Borçlunun bir
sözleşme veya kanundan doğan yükümlülüğünü yerine getirmeme riskine karşı
teminat sağlayan finansal ürünlerden biri de kefalet sigortasıdır. Birçok
kullanımına ek olarak, proje finansmanında da teminat mektupları gibi kullanımı
mümkün olmaktadır. Ülkemizde yasal altyapı uygun hale getirilmiş ve teminat
türleri tanımlanmış olan bu ürünün uygulaması ve muhtemel etkileri Türk
Finansal Kesimi için önem arz etmektedir. Başta bankacılık sektörü olmak üzere
ilgili tüm paydaşlara etkisi olacak bu yeni ürünün değerlendirilmesi de
çalışmanın bir parçasını oluşturmaktadır.
