Abstract
Note-taking is a learning strategy, which is frequently used by students
at all stages of higher education as well as at their all classes. Taking effective
notes and reviewing those increase students’ learning and recall levels. In this
study, we focused on one of the learning strategies in teaching history, taking
notes with an emphasis on effects of to the note taking outlining and matrix
technique on learning and recalling historical information
Abstract
Not alma, eğitimin her aşamasında özellikle yüksek öğretimde vehemen hemen bütün derslerde öğrencilerin çok sık kullandıkları öğrenme stratejisidir. Öğrencilerin derslerde etkili notlar almaları ve bu notları gözden geçirmeleri öğrenme ve hatırlama düzeylerini artırır. Bu çalışmada Tarih öğretiminde öğrenme stratejilerinden birisi olan not almanın önemi üzerinde durulmuş,özellikle anahat çıkarma ve matris not alma tekniklerinin tarihsel bilginin öğrenilmesi ve hatırlanması üzerindeki önemi incelenmiştir
