ÖĞRETMENLERİN EĞİTİM DÜZEYLERİNE GÖRE SINIFLANDIRILMASINDA KARİYER UYUM YETENEKLERİNİN ROLÜ

Abstract

Öğretmenlik mesleğinde kariyer gelişiminin temel göstergelerinden biri
lisansüstü eğitim almaktır. Lisansüstü eğitim alan öğretmenlerin gelecekleriyle
daha fazla ilgilendikleri, seçeneklerini araştırdıkları, değerlendirdikleri ve uygulamaya
koydukları görülmektedir. Bu araştırmada öğretmenlerin eğitim düzeylerine
göre (lisans ve lisansüstü) sınıflandırılmalarında kariyer uyum yeteneklerinin
alt boyutlarının (ilgi, kontrol, merak ve güven) rolünün incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır.
Araştırma grubunda yer alan 283 öğretmenden 139’u lisans, 144’ü lisanüstü
eğitim düzeyindedir. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak kariyer uyum
yetenekleri ölçeği kısa formu kullanılmıştır. Öğretmenlerin eğitim düzeylerine
göre sınıflandırılmasında kariyer uyum yeteneklerinin rolü diskriminant analizi
ile test edilmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucunda kariyer uyum yeteneklerinin dört alt
boyutundan sadece ilginin grupları manidar bir şekilde ayırdığı tespit edilmiştir.
İlgi boyutu grupların %60,1’ini doğru ayırabilmektedir.
