The Mediterranean Journal of Humanities (MJH) Editorial Board ensures the secure and long-term preservation of all published materials. Articles are automatically deposited into electronic archives by the journal and made openly accessible without requiring any action from the authors. Authors and funding institutions are also permitted to deposit the accepted or published version of their articles in any institutional or disciplinary repository of their choice.
The Mediterranean Journal of Humanities license allows reuse of published content for non-commercial purposes, provided that the original source is properly cited with full bibliographic reference.
MJH maintains all published content under a CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 Creative Commons License, ensuring perpetual open access and preservation of full-text content through both DergiPark and certified archiving systems.
1. Since 2024 (Vol. 14, No. 1), all issues published on the DergiPark platform are automatically preserved through the LOCKSS system: https://dergipark.org.tr/en/pub/mjh/lockss-manifest
2. Earlier issues (2011–2023), published before the migration to DergiPark, remain openly accessible on the DergiPark platform. Their original digital backups are securely stored on the Akdeniz University servers to ensure their preservation and accessibility.
The LOCKSS system has been implemented for The Mediterranean Journal of Humanities (MJH) since the journal’s transition to the DergiPark (2024) platform.
