Seleukos Nikator’un krallık döneminden başlayarak I. Philippos Philadelphos dönemine kadar olan Seleukos Kralları’na ait sikkeleri kapsamaktadır. Sikkelerin krallara göre dağılımı şu şekildedir; I. Seleukos Nikator (10), I. Antiochos Soter (14), II. Antiochos Theos (6), II. Seleukos Kallinikos (1), III. Seleukos Keraunos (19), III. Antiochos Megas (9), Axaios (1), IV. Seleukos Philopator (4), IV. Antiochos Epiphanes (25), I. Demetrios Soter (9), I. Aleksandros Balas (25), II. Demetrios Nikator (3), VI. Antiochos Dionysos (9), VII. Antiochos Euergetes (9), II. Aleksandros Zabinas (2), VIII. Antiochos Grypos (7), IX. Antiochos Kyzikenos (6), I. Philippos Philadelphos (5) ve I. Philippos Philadelphos tipli (5). Sikkeler, BMC The Seleucid Kings of Syria, E.T.

<p>This study consists of a total of 169 coins belonging to nineteen different Seleucid Kings, of different types and minted in different mints, which were recorded in the collection of the Elazığ Archaeology and Ethnography Museum through confiscation, purchase and donation. The coins, consisting of 1 gold, 23 silver, and 145 bronze, comprise coins of the Seleucid kings from the reign of Seleucus I Nicator to the reign of Philip I Philadelphos. The distribution of coins according to kings is as follows; Seleucus I Nikator (10), Antiochus I Soter (14), Antiochus II Theos (6), Seleucus II Kallinikos (1), Seleucus III Keraunos (19), Antiochus III Megas (9), Axaios (1), Seleucus IV Philopator (4), Antiochus IV Epiphanes (25), Demetrios I Soter (9), Alexander I Balas (25), Demetrios II Nicator (3), Antiochus VI Dionysus (9), Antiochus VII Euergetes (9), Alexander II Zabinas (2), Antiochus VIII Grypos (7), Antiochus IX Cyzicenus (6), Philippos I Philadelphos (5) and Philippos I Philadelphos type (5). The coins were dated chronologically according to the catalogs created by BMC The Seleucid Kings of Syria, E.T. Newell, and Artur Houghton-Catharine Lorber-Oliver Hoover (2002 and 2008). The Seleucid Kingdom, which reigned for approximately 248 years between 312/11 and 64 BC, was also evaluated due to the conflicts over the throne between two kings in different regions. The influence of the Seleucid queens of Ptolemaic origin on the government and the reflections of these influences on the coins are also evaluated. The coin circulation in the lands under the kingdom&#039;s rule will be presented to the scientific community, along with the minting locations, molds, and circulation chronology of the coins. Furthermore, under Roman rule, the posthumous coins of Philip I Philadelphus were minted with few modifications until their withdrawal from circulation in 17/6 or 14/3 BC. Five of these coins were also examined. The catalog contains multiple coins of the same type. The most distinctive of these coins was selected and added with its catalog number.</p></trans-abstract>
