In this article, the authors reviewed the mucinous neoplasms of the appendix retrospectively. According to the observations in this series, five out of thirty-five cases (14.2%) had tumors other than the appendix. Three of them are ovarian tumors and two are stomach-based tumors. The large number of AMNs observed in association with other tumors is remarkable. We aimed to evaluate this situation with the help of literature.

İlgili makalede diğer tümörler ile birlikte gözlenen apendiks müsinöz neoplazmlarını (AMN) sayısının çokluğu dikkat çekicidir. Bu durumu literatür eşliğinde değerlendirmeyi amaçladık. Makalede retrospektif olarak AMN’leri gözden geçirmişlerdir. Bu serideki gözlemlere göre, otuzbeş olgudan beşinde (%14,2) apendiks dışında da tümör bulunmaktadır. Bunların üçü over, ikisi ise mide kaynaklı tümörlerdir.
