While television with its both educational and entertaining features is appealing to the majority of the society, its presence in children’s world cannot be avoided. When TV’s features like addressing more than one sense, reaching easily each family from every socioeconomic level and the time children spent in front of TV are considered the importance of TV programs in children’s life becomes more important. In this study Pepee, which has been a part of children’s lives recently, has been assessed from the perspective of parents, teachers and children. The sample of the study is composed of 99 teachers working in preschools bound to Ministry of National Education 435 children attending those preschool institutions and 400 parents in İstanbul, Aydın and Konya. In the study, Questionnaire about Pepee Cartoon’s teacher, child and parent forms are used as data collection device. Study results have shown that children like Pepee Cartoon, although parents and teachers have some negative ideas about Pepee Cartoon, in general they considered it positive cartoon
Televizyon hem eğitici, hem öğretici hem de eğlendirici özellikleriyle birçok kitleye hitap ederken çocuğun yaşamındaki varlığı görmezden gelinemez. Birden fazla duyuya hitap etme özelliği, her sosyo ekonomik düzeydeki aileye ulaşması ve çocukların televizyon karşısında geçirdikleri zaman dikkate alındığında televizyon programlarının çocuğun yaşamındaki önemi daha da artmaktadır. Bu çalışmada son dönemlerde birçok çocuğun yaşamında var olan Pepee Çizgi Filmi, ebeveyn, öğretmen ve çocuk gözüyle değerlendirilmiştir. Araştırmanın örneklem grubunu, İstanbul, Aydın ve Konya İl Milli Eğitim Müdürlüklerine bağlı okul öncesi eğitim kurumlarında çalışan 99 okul öncesi öğretmeni, bu kurumlara devam eden 435 çocuk ve 400 veli oluşturmuştur. Araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak Pepee Çizgi Filmi Konulu Anket Öğretmen Formu, Veli Formu ve Çocuk Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonuçları, Pepee Çizgi Filmini çocukların sevdiğini, ebeveyn ve öğretmenlerin ise pek çok yönünü beğendiklerini, ancak bazı yönlerini de eleştirdiklerini göstermiştir.
