LİSE ÖĞRENCİLERİNİN PERFORMANS ÖDEVLERİNE KARŞI TUTUMLARININ BAZI DEĞİŞKENLER AÇISINDAN İNCELENMESİ

Özet
Bu araştırmanın temel amacı, performans ödevlerinin eğitim sistemindeki yerini-işlevini belirlemektir. Çalışmanın örneklemini 2014-2015 eğitim-öğretim yılında İzmir ilinde 2 farklı Anadolu lisesinde öğrenim gören 257 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmada cinsiyet, okul, biyoloji dersi puan ortalamaları göz önüne alınmıştır. Veri toplama aracı olarak 45 maddelik 5’li Likert tipi bir ölçek (α=0.943) kullanılmıştır. Veriler SPSS paket programı kullanılarak analiz edilmiştir.
Analiz sonucunda öğrencilerin tutum puanları ile cinsiyet, okul türü kategorilerine göre anlamlı fark bulunmazken, sınıfların 1.dönem biyoloji puan ortalamaları ile araştırmanın alt boyutları (üst düzey beceriler-güdü, Öğrenme düzeyi ve İşbirliği, Öğrenci olanakları-Güdü) arasında anlamlı fark bulunmuştur. Biyoloji performans ödevleri bazı konularda (araştırma becerileri, konuları pekiştirme vb.) katkı sağlasa da genel anlamda bu ödevleri velilerin yapması, öğrencilerdeki ödev algısının internetle sınırlı olması gibi sebeplerle amacına ulaşamadığı görülmüştür. Ayrıca, performans ödevlerinin hedeflerine ulaşması için öğretmen, öğrenci ve velilere uygulanabilecek önerilere yer verilmiştir.

AN INVESTIGATION OF SOME VARIABLES RELATED STUDENTS’ ATTITUDES ABOUT PERFORMANCE ASSIGNMENTS
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to investigate the place of the performance assignment given at biology lessons in the education system and students ' attitudes towards these assignments. The study population consisted of high school students who studied at high school in Izmir in 2014 - 2015 spring semester. The sample of the survey is comprised of 257students, studied in two different Anatolian high schools. Data’s were analyzed by using SPSS Package Program.
A significant difference was not found for students' attitude to biology performance assignments at first classes according to gender or schools. When the result of the research has been thought in general, students have realized the benefits of the assignments [as improving their skills of using technology and strengthening the topics], but also they have had the negative opinion for these homework. It is observed that most of the students have stayed unstable for some subjects such as whether the assignments are given appropriate for their purpose or not, the contribution to their high level cognitive skills, increasing their interest. The results of the research have been examined carefully, some recommendations have been presented. Suggestions have been given for students and teachers mainly.
