                                                                                                <abstract><p>Hüseyin Rahmi Gürpınar (1864-1944) romancı olarak dahaziyade yazdıklarının muhtevası ile değerlendirilir; ele aldığı tiplericanlandırmadaki ustalığı ve halk için sanatın gereği olarak eserinekonuşlandırdığı bilgi merkezli işleyiş ile tahlil edilir. Peki onun dilini bukadar etkileyici, tesirli ve hatta büyüleyici yapan nedir? Nasıl olur dakonuşan kişi yazar tarafından konuşturulan değil de bizzat kendisi konuşan,mevcut olan, nefes alıp veren suretinde metne hâkim olur? Bu şüphesiz dilinpragmatik katmana yakın olarak ve yer yer pragmatik katman içinde kullanılmasıile mümkündür. Ayrıca dili perlokasyonel ve illokasyonel arasında ustacabiçimlendirmek de aynı başarının temininde önemli rol oynar. Bu hususlarıAustin ve Cohen himmeti ile izaha etmek şüphesiz metin tahlili için gerekennazarî zemini en kısa yoldan imar etmek cihetinde olacaktır.</p></abstract>
