<p>As one of the 20th century’s most important movements in philosophy, phenomenology has expanded into fields such as ethics and politics after the time of its founder Husserl. The Crisis of European Sciences and Transcendental Phenomenology (Die Krisis der europäischen Wissenschaften und die transzendentale Phänomenologie), one of Husserl’s last works, has a special influence on this expansion and on the interests of the following period. Hannah Arendt and Jan Patočka, two great thinkers who think and write on politics, turn to the issue of politics and the human problem through the concepts and possibilities provided by Husserl’s phenomenology. In this direction, they reinterpret Husserl’s basic themes such as “intersubjectivity”, “life-world” and “the discovery of subjectivity” within the field of politics. Therefore, Arendt and Patočka can be said to express the political turn of Husserl’s phenomenology. In our study, we will try to show how Arendt and Patočka, two important figures of this turning point, deal with the human issue in the context of politics</p></trans-abstract>
