Ethics Committee Permission

Authors should indicate under the “Methods” heading of the article and at the end of the article that they have obtained ethics committee approval for all quantitative or qualitative studies that require ethics committee approval and upload the “Ethics Committee Approval Document” to the system. It should be clearly written from which institution, on which date and with which number the approval was obtained.

In line with the decision taken by ULAKBIM TR Dizin, the researches that require ethics committee permission are as follows:

• All kinds of research conducted with qualitative or quantitative approaches that require data collection from participants using survey, interview, focus group, observation, experiment,
• Use of humans and animals (including materials/data) for experimental or other scientific purposes,
• Clinical trials on humans,
• Research on animals,
• Retrospective studies in accordance with the personal data protection law.

Also, it should be clearly stated within the text;

• that an “Informed Consent Form” has been obtained for case presentations (case analysis),
• that permission is granted from the owners in case of the use of scales, questionnaires, photographs belonging to others,
• that copyright regulations are complied with in case of the use of the intellectual and artistic works.
