Today, commercial companies can compete with their rivals by creating useful and reliable e-commerce sites and adapting to online platforms. E-commerce sites are preferred to the extent that they are designed to respond to user needs and demands. In the study, a decision support system based on Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP), one of the multi-criteria decision making (MCDM) methods, was designed to select the best e-commerce site according to user preferences. For this purpose, 4 e-commerce sites with high demand from users and high site traffic were analyzed based on 5 main criteria and 27 sub-criteria obtained through literature review and determined by experts. As a result of the evaluation made with the designed decision support system, the preference rankings of alternative e-commerce sites were found. As a result of the study, EC1 site was determined as the optimum e-commerce site. It has been observed that technical features and user-friendly features are more decisive on the basis of main criteria, and on the basis of sub-criteria, users care about the page opening quickly, having an SSL certificate, the website being responsive and having an application option.
