Authorship and Contribution
Authorship should be limited to those who have made significant contributions to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the study. All significant contributors should be listed as co-authors. If there are individuals who have contributed very little, such as language editing, they should be acknowledged in the acknowledgment section. The corresponding author should ensure that all co-authors have seen and approved the final version of the article and have agreed for its submission and publication. Authors are expected to carefully review and confirm the author list and order before submitting their article and provide the final author list at the time of original submission. The Editor will consider additions, deletions, or rearrangements of authors only in exceptional cases after the article has been submitted. All authors must accept any such addition, deletion, or rearrangement.

Requests for Author Changes

Changes in the author names, including additions, deletions, or rearrangements, can only be made before the article is accepted and only with the approval of the Editor.
If such a change is requested, the Editor will ask the corresponding author for (a) the reason for the change in the author list and (b) written consent (email) from all authors agreeing to the addition. The Editor will consider additions, deletions, or rearrangements of authors only in exceptional cases after the article is accepted.

Manuscript Writing
Authors of original research articles should address the topic in an original and objective discussion. The article should contain sufficient detail and references to allow others to replicate the study. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate statements are unethical and unacceptable.

Originality
Authors should ensure that the article is original, has not been published elsewhere, and is not under consideration for publication in another language elsewhere.

Use of Original Sources and Citation
Authors should ensure that if they have used the work or words of others, it is appropriately cited or quoted. Information obtained privately, as in conversation, correspondence, or discussion with third parties, should not be used without explicit, written permission from the source.

Data Access and Preservation
Authors may be asked to provide the research data supporting their articles for editorial review and/or comply with the journal's open data requirements. Authors should be prepared to provide public access to such data and should retain such data for a reasonable period after publication. Our journal recommends uploading research data to TUBITAK's Aperta Portal.

Multiple and Concurrent Publications
An author should not publish an article that overlaps substantially with an article that the author published in another journal. Submitting the same article to more than one journal concurrently is unethical. An author should not submit for consideration in another journal a previously published article except in the form of an abstract.

Publication of Studies Based on Surveys and Interviews
For research in all scientific disciplines that require ethical committee approval (ethical approval must have been obtained and this approval should be stated and documented in the article), information about the permission (committee name, date, and number) should be provided in the method section. In research requiring ethical committee approval, information about the signed informed consent form (committee name, date, and number) should be included in the article in addition to the method section, on the first/last pages of the article for case reports.

Conflict of Interest
Conflict of interest refers to financial or other interests that may compromise or significantly bias a person's decisions or actions. All sources of financial support for the conduct of the research and/or preparation of the article should be disclosed, and the role of the sponsor(s) in the research should be specified. If there is no funding, this should also be indicated. Examples of potential conflicts of interest that should be disclosed include consultancies, employment, grants, etc. Potential conflicts of interest should be disclosed as early as possible.

Reporting Errors
When an author discovers a significant error or inaccuracy in their published work, they should promptly notify the journal's editors and cooperate with them to either correct the paper or retract it if necessary. If the editor or the publisher learns from a third party that a published work contains a significant error, it is the obligation of the author to cooperate with the editor to correct or retract the paper or provide evidence to the editor of the correctness of the original paper.

Image Integrity
Manipulation, enhancement, moving, removing, or introducing specific features in an image is unacceptable. Authors should comply with the graphic guidelines applied by the journal for all graphic images.
