Doğrudan yabancı yatırım, bir ülkedeki bireylerin ya da firmaların başka bir ülkedeki ticari amaçla yaptığı yatırımlardır. Doğrudan yabancı yatırım, yatırım yapılan ülkeler açısından kalkınmanın önemli bileşenlerinden bir tanesidir. Döviz kuru istikrarı, teknoloji transferi, rekabetçilik, istihdam ve işletmecilik bilgisine ilişkin olumlu etkilerinden dolayı ülkeler bu tür yatırımları çekmeye çalışmaktadırlar. Bunun için ülkeler, yatırım yapacak şirketlere mali disiplin, hukuki ve yasal güvenceler gibi çeşitli argümanlar sunmaktadırlar. Bu sayede ülkeler doğrudan yabancı yatırım için gelecek olan şirketlere güvenli bir ortam oluşturmaya çalışırlar. Bu çalışmada, Türkiye’de doğrudan yabancı yatırım üzerine hazırlanan lisansüstü tezlere ilişkin sistematik bir derlemenin yapılması amaçlanmaktadır. Çalışmada, Yüksek Öğretim Kurumu Ulusal Tez Merkezi veri tabanı üzerinden 2010-2020 yıllarını kapsayan “doğrudan yabancı yatırım” konulu arama yapılmış ve toplamda 163 adet lisansüstü teze ulaşılmıştır. Bu bağlamda; 2019 yılı bu konuda en çok tezin yazıldığı tarihtir. Bu tezlerin %88 ile daha çok Türkçe yazıldığı, en çok tezin 110 çalışmayla Ekonomi alanında çalışıldığı görülmektedir. En çok kullanılan anahtar kelimenin doğrudan yabancı yatırımlar olduğu ve en çok kullanılan analiz çeşidinin ise ARDL Analizi olduğu görülmüştür.
Foreign direct investment (FDI) is investments made by individuals or companies in one country for commercial purposes in another country. FDI is one of the substantial components of development for the invested countries. Countries are trying to attract such investments because of their positive effects on exchange rate stability, technology transfer, competitiveness, employment and business knowledge. For this, countries that desire to attract investments offer various arguments such as financial discipline, jural and legal assurances to companies that want to invest own countries. In this way, countries try to create a safe environment for companies coming for FDI. In this study, it is aimed to implement a systematic review of postgraduate theses on FDI in Turkey. In the study, a search is performed on the subject of "Foreign Direct Investment" covering the years 2010-2020 on the database of the National Thesis Centre of the Higher Education Institution and a total of 163 graduate theses are obtained. In this context, the year 2019 is the date in which the most thesis was written on this subject. It is observed that 88% of these postgraduate theses were written mostly in Turkish, and most of the theses were studied in the field of Economics with 110 studies. It has been occurred that the most utilized keyword is FDI field, and the most practised type of analysis is ARDL Analysis.
