The purpose of this study was to evaluate the 7th grade mathematics curriculum based on teachers' opinions. The study group of this qualitative research consists of 20 mathematics teachers chosen randomly from primary schools in Eski?ehir. Semi-structured interview method was used to determine the teachers' opinions about 7th grade mathematics curriculum. Content analysis was used to analyze data. According to the results of the study, teachers have positive opinions about 7th grade mathematics curriculum but there were some problems in application. These problems originated in no assimilation of new curriculum by both teachers and students according to the teachers opinions. Teachers expressed that the inefficiency of hard infrastructure of the schools for new curriculum, inefficient weekly course hours, too much activities, crowded classrooms, complex evaluation techniques made difficult to application of new curriculum. Finally, some suggestions were included for application of new curriculum.
