Examining musical profiles of second level students at primary education by determining its variation based on sex, school, class, mother's and father's educational background, and providing recommendations on the existing situation are aimed in this study. In the study, literature research was carried out in the phase of forming the theoretical foundations of the subject-matter and a questionnaire was applied to the sample group. Sample group of the research consists of 417 second level students attending to a private primary education school and a state-owned primary education school at Yozgat provincial center, and in a state-owned primary education school far from the provincial center, who have different socioeconomic levels. In the study it is found out that musical profiles of primary education students at Yozgat province differ in terms of sex, school, class, mother's and father's educational background.
