Reflections From Popular Çulture Yn Ahmet Arif's Poems

Abstract

Public narratives such as fairy tales, folk tales, legends; beliefs, mythological and religious motifs; idioms, proverbs, local words, briefly folklore elements have attracted the attention of literatus for almost all periods.In Turkish literature ,many poets and writers have been affected by the folklore elements; they reflected this impact in their works.Folkloric studies having been carried on literary works have a great importance in terms of emphasizing the impact of folklore on literary works. Ahmet Arif carried his observations about moral and material cultural elements to poem valley by composing them with his own affections; he tried to write a striking Anatolian epic full of tragic stories and descriptions. While describing his subject person, within possibility of poetry, he used folklore elements such as mytholgical and religious motifs, elements of fairy tales and folk tales, traditions, eliefs, holly numbers. The poet of "Hasretinden Prangalar Eskittim (I wore gyves out because of yearning for you)", who was cherished by coronaches and folksongs of the region he lived, made use of many folklore works to create an image or to enrich his poems with association .

Abstract

Masal, halk hikâyesi, efsane gibi halk anlatylary; inany?lar, mitolojik ve dinî motifler; atasözleri, deyimler, yöresel kelimeler; kysacasy folklor unsurlary, hemen her dönem edebiyatçylaryn ilgisini çekmi?tir. Türk edebiyatynda birçok yazar ve ?air, folklor unsurlaryndan etkilenmi?; bu etkiyi eserlerinde az veya çok yansytmy?lardyr. Edebi eserler üzerinde yapylan halk bilimsel çaly?malar, halk kültürünün edebi eserler üzerindeki etki ve önemini vurgulamak açysyndan oldukça önem ta?ymaktadyr. Ahmet Arif, Anadolu insanynyn maddi ve manevi kültür unsurlaryyla ilgili gözlemlerini kendi duygulanymlaryyla harmanlayarak ?iir vadisine ta?ymy?; ço?u trajik hikâye ve tasvirlerle dolu çarpycy bir Anadolu destany yazmaya çaly?my?tyr. Mitolojik ve dini motifler, masal ve halk hikâyesi unsurlary, gelenek görenekler, inany?lar, kutsal sayylar gibi folklor unsurlaryny, ?iirlerinde ele aldy?y insany anlatyrken, ?iir sanatynyn imkânlary dâhilinde yararlanmy?tyr. Ya?ady?y co?rafyanyn a?ytlaryndan, türkülerinden beslenen "Hasretinden Prangalar Eskittim"in ?airi, birçok folklor ürününden, ?iirlerine ça?ry?ym zenginli?i katmak ya da imaj olu?turmak amacyyla faydalanmy?tyr.
