MERMER TOZU KATKILI KERPİÇİN MÜHENDİSLİK ÖZELLİKLERİNİN ARAŞTIRILMASI

Abstract

Bu çalışmada, Afyon yöresindeki mermer fabrikalarından çıkan atık mermer tozunun kerpicin fiziksel ve mekanik özelliklerine etkisi araştırılmıştır. Mermer tozu, deneyde kullanılan kile ağırlıkça %5, %10, %15, %20, %25 oranlarında eklenerek, her bir karışımdan 70x70x70 mm ve 40x40x160 mm boyutunda 6'şar adet numune üretilmiştir. Numunelere; birim ağırlık, şişme, ultrases, büzülme, basınç dayanımı, çekme dayanımı, çamurlaşma ve kılcallık testleri uygulanmıştır. Yapılan deneyler sonucunda, %20 mermer tozu katkılı kerpicin en yüksek değerleri verdiği; birim ağırlığın 2,10 gr/cm3, şişme süresinin 6 dakika, ultrases geçiş hızının 1,21 km/s, basınç dayanımının 10,71 N/mm2, eğilmede çekme dayanımının 2,47 N/mm2, çamurlaşma süresinin 23 dakika, kılcallık değeri 20. dakikada 4cm olduğu görülmüştür.

INVESTIGATION OF ENGINEERING PROPERTIES OF ADOBE-MIXED GROUND MARBLE

Abstract

In this study, the impact of ground marble released from the marble factories around the province of Afyon on mechanical and physical properties of adobe was investigated. For this purpose, ground marble was mixed with the clay used in the experiment at the rates of 5, 13, 15, 20 and 25 respectively; and from each of these mixtures 6 samples with different sizes (70x70x70mm and 40x40x160mm) were produced. Unit weight, swelling, ultrasound, shrinkage, compressive strength, tensile strength, mudding and capillarity tests were applied to these samples. As a result of the experiments carried out, it was observed that adobe mixed with 20% ground marble had the highest values with the unit weight of 2,10gr/cm3; swelling duration of 6 minutes; ultrasound velocity of 1,21km/s; compressive strength of 10,71N/mm2; tensile strength of 2,47 N/mm2; softening duration in water of 23 seconds; capillarity of 20 minutes .
